- John Ferrier Rice Review added: 2018.07.19★ ★ ★ ★ ☆This is a Roman Catholic social club in the Lancashire village of Hurst Green near Stonyhurst Roman Catholic College.
I had a look in and it is a well kept social club and was clean and tidy inside.
It also had prints of Her Majesty The Queen and the Pope on the wall therefore indicating it is a welcoming club to both Protestants and Roman Catholics and that there is no conflict between being a supporter of Her Majesty The Queen and being Roman Catholic or being Protestant and being a member of a Roman Catholic social club.
A lesson that maybe should be applied to other areas elsewhere in the United Kingdom.
I would recommend a walk around Stonyhurst Roman Catholic College grounds and surrounding area before or after a visit to the St Peters Guild Club.
